Paramedic Basic - Portland

Paramedic Basic position in McMinnville, OR. Responsibilities include assessing each call to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols, applying paramedic skills with medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care, communicating with patients and families, acting as Paramedic team leader and handling scene/unit management as needed, and driving the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations. Required qualifications include a High school diploma or GED, State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications, compliant driving record, ability to pass a Physical Agility Test, and some healthcare experience.
