Paramedic Basic - Portland

Paramedic Basic role with AMR/Global Medical Response in Portland, OR. Responsibilities include assessing calls, acting as Paramedic team leader, using Paramedic skills on equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) and IV fluids to provide advanced medical care, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel. Community engagement and participation in programs are also described. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, State Paramedic License, State Driver's License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic credentials, plus a driving record in policy, ability to pass Physical Agility Test, and some healthcare experience.
