Paramedic Basic - Portland

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and suction devices to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being delivered. Act as team leader for scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating professionally with allied health, public safety, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Salary range $73,394.83 - $112,102.00.
