Paramedic Basic - Portland

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being given, act as team leader for scene and unit management, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, PHTLS, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Paid shift differentials, enhanced holiday pay, and paid training included.
