Paramedic Basic - Portland

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Act as team leader for scene and unit management, driving ambulances on 911 responses while communicating with patients and loved ones. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Includes paid shift differentials, enhanced holiday pay, and paid training.
