Paramedic Basic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families while acting as team leader for scene and unit management. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Hourly rates start at $24.00.
