Paramedic Basic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical skills on equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Full-time 48/96 shift schedule with a salary of $25-$40 per hour depending on experience.
