Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Requires Oregon State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and ICS certifications. Pay ranges from $73,394.83 to $112,102.00 with paid shift differentials and enhanced holiday pay.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Oregon State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
