Paramedic Basic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being given. Act as team leader for scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Full-time or part-time roles available with a 10K sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment. Salary ranges from $37.11 to $59.42 per hour.
