Paramedic Basic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader and manage the scene and unit as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, and physical agility test. Full-time role with Global Medical Response.
