Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to provide patient care. Communicate with patients and families, act as team leader for scene and unit management, and drive ambulances on 911 responses. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel while participating in community programs to maintain AMR image. Requires CA State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/PALS, ICS 100-800, and compliant driving record. Full-time or part-time roles available with a 10K sign-on bonus for two-year commitment. AMR delivers compassionate emergency and patient relocation services through Global Medical Response.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CA State Paramedic License
- CA State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- ICS 100,200,700 and 800
- CA Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
