Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel while participating in community programs to maintain AMR image. Requires CA State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ICS certifications. Full-time or part-time roles available with a 10K sign-on bonus for two-year commitment. AMR delivers compassionate emergency and patient relocation services through Global Medical Response.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CA State Paramedic License
- CA State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- ICS 100,200,700 and 800
- CA Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
