Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being given. Act as team leader for scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Full-time or part-time roles with a 10K sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment. Salary ranges from $37.11 to $59.42 per hour for 12-hour shifts averaging 42 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CA State Paramedic License
- CA State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- ICS 100,200,700 and 800
- CA Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
