Paramedic Basic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical skills on equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide patient care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being given. Act as team leader for scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires a CA State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ICS 100/200/700/800. Full-time or part-time roles available with a 12-hour shift schedule.
