Job Summary
Paramedics and Rescue Paramedics are sought for DIDO or FIFO assignments to client sites in Blackwater and Daunia, Queensland, delivering medical and emergency response services, equipment inspections, clinical governance, drug & alcohol testing, and participation in emergency drills. Responsibilities include on-site medical care for incidents, maintaining inventories, documenting events and patient management, supporting rehabilitation and return-to-work processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of site medical services.

- Drivers Licence - C Class Manual Open
- Coal Board Medical - Rescue
- Immunisations - Tetanus, Hep A & B
- Standard 11 - Generic Induction Coal Surface
- RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Space or equivalent
- RIIWHS204W Work safely at heights or equivalent
- Course in Drug & Alcohol Testing HLTPAT005 or equivalent
- AHPRA Register Medical Professional - Paramedic or Nurse (Blackwater)
- AHPRA Registered Medical Professional - Paramedic (Daunia)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE (Desirable)
- Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit PUAFIR207B or equivalent (Desirable)
- Identify, Detect and Monitor Hazardous Materials at an Incident - PUAFIR316 or equivalent (Desirable)
- Render Hazardous Material Incidents Safe PUAFIR324 or equivalent (Desirable)
- Undertake Road Crash Rescue PUASAR24A or equivalent (Desirable)
- Undertake Vertical Rescue PUASAR032A or equivalent (Desirable)
- Undertake Confined Space Rescue PUASAR025A or equivalent (Desirable)
- Conduct Fire Team Operations RIIERR201D or equivalent (Desirable)
- Respond to Local Emergencies and Incidents RIIERR302D or equivalent (Desirable)
- Certificate III Emergency Response or equivalent (Desirable)
- AHPRA Registered Paramedic with 2-5 years in a similar FIFO / DIDO role (Experience)
- Recent acute care experience, such as on-road emergency care or remote area emergency care (Experience)
- Physically fit and mentally prepared for remote field deployment (Experience)
- Strong situational awareness and ability to work independently (Experience)
- Flexible to work 12-hour shifts (Experience)
