Job Summary
Paramedics needed for immediate full-time roles in Burlingame and Stanford, CA. Responsibilities include assessing call situations and determining the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols; delivering advanced medical care with equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV therapy; communicating with patients and families; acting as Paramedic team leader and managing scene and unit operations as needed; driving the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel; participating in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiner's Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
