Job Summary
Paramedic responsible for assessing calls and determining the best course of action while following progressive Paramedic protocols; provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids; communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance; act as Paramedic team leader and assume scene and unit management as needed; drive the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Oregon State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
