Job Summary
Provide advanced medical care as a Paramedic on 911 responses in Portland, lead scenes, operate EMS equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids), communicate with patients and families, drive the ambulance, and collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel. Serve as Paramedic team leader when needed and manage scene and unit as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Oregon State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
