Job Summary
Deliver advanced patient care as a Special Events Paramedic. Lead on scene when needed, drive the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborate with allied health/public safety personnel. Responsibilities include assessing calls, using paramedic equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids), communicating with patients and families, and maintaining community relations. Requires NYS Paramedic Certification, NYC REMAC, license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a valid driving record; high school diploma or equivalent and healthcare experience preferred. Starting pay $31.75/hour with progression based on experience; location: Bronx, NY. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- NYS Paramedic Certification
- NYC REMAC
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
