Job Summary
Paramedic - full-time position in San Mateo County serving Menlo Park area. Assess each call to determine action per Paramedic protocols; utilize advanced medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care; communicate with patients and families; act as Paramedic team leader and on-scene/unit management as needed; drive the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
