Job Summary
Paramedics on the EMS team deliver advanced medical care on 911 responses, using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids; serve as scene leader for unit management; drive the ambulance; collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; and participate in community programs to uphold AMR’s image and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, BTLS OR PHTLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
