Job Summary
Assess call situations using progressive protocols and utilize advanced medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while acting as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to ensure they understand care is being provided. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow Paramedics. This part-time role offers a sign-on bonus and night shift differential for those passionate about delivering compassionate emergency medical services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must have valid State Driver's License
- State Paramedic License
- BLS, ACLS, PHTLS/ITLS, PALS
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Desired Qualifications
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare preferred
