Job Summary
Paramedic responsible for assessing call situations and executing progressive Paramedic protocols; using medical equipment such as defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced care; communicating with patients and families; acting as scene/unit lead when needed; driving the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborating with health and public safety personnel; and participating in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
