Job Summary
On-site Paramedic role in San Francisco County focusing on advanced patient care and leadership on EMS calls. Assess call situations, apply Paramedic protocols, use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) and administer IV fluids to deliver high-quality emergency care. Act as Paramedic team leader for scene and unit management, drive the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel. Engage in community programs to maintain AMR’s community relations and uphold GMR/AMR care standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, BTLS OR PHTLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
