Job Summary
Paramedics at AMR/GMR deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care on 911 responses, assess calls, and use advanced equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) under progressive Paramedic protocols. They serve as scene leaders when needed, drive the ambulance, collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, and participate in community programs to maintain a positive image. Essential duties include applying advanced medical care, communicating with patients and families, and maintaining professional operations across emergency medical services. Minimum qualifications include a state paramedic license, ambulance driver’s license, Medical Examiners Card, state driver’s license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or PEPP/ITLS or PHTLS, driving record compliance, physical agility, and healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25)
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
