Job Summary
Paramedic responsible for assessing call situations, determining best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols, delivering advanced medical care with equipment such as defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices and IV fluids, communicating with patients and families, acting as Paramedic team leader for scene and unit management as needed, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel, and participating in community programs to maintain AMR image and strong community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25)
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
