Job Summary
Paramedic responsible for on-scene assessment and decision-making using progressive Paramedic protocols; perform advanced medical care with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids; communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance; act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene and unit as needed; drive the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and strong community relations.
Required Qualifications
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, BTLS OR PHTLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
