Job Summary
Paramedic - full-time role responsible for on-scene assessment and leadership using progressive Paramedic protocols; deliver advanced medical care with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids; communicate with patients and families; act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed; drive the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs to uphold AMR image; requires Florida Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, High School Diploma or GED, Florida Driver’s License, and driving record compliance; ability to pass Physical Agility Test; some healthcare experience preferred; AMR/Global Medical Response is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State of Florida Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
