Job Summary
Paramedic position in Owensboro, KY; responsibilities include assessing each call to determine the best course of action, utilizing Paramedic skills on medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, intravenous fluids) to provide advanced medical care, communicating with patients and families, acting as Paramedic team leader and taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel, and participating in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
