Job Summary
Paramedic role in a full-time position involving assessing calls, applying advanced paramedic protocols, utilizing medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids), communicating with patients and families, acting as on-scene team leader, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel. Includes participation in community programs and a clear pathway to serve as a front-line EMS provider within Global Medical Response’s AMR team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification
- State Driver’s License
- BLS and ACLS required upon hire. PALS is preferred, but not required.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass Physical Agility Test.
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare.
