Job Summary
Paramedic full-time role focusing on advanced patient care during emergency responses. Responsibilities include assessing calls and applying progressive Paramedic protocols, using medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) and providing IV therapy; communicating with patients and loved ones; acting as Paramedic team leader and managing scenes and units as needed; driving the ambulance on 911 responses; collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel; and participating in community programs to uphold company image and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25)
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
