Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Act as team leader for scene and unit management while communicating with patients, loved ones, and receiving facilities. Drive the ambulance with map reading support and coordinate with dispatchers. Lift and move patients as required. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Meet and communicate with customers and staff in skilled nursing and hospital facilities to ensure needs are met. Report interactions to operations or account managers. Work overnight shifts with a $15K sign-on bonus requiring a 2-year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current state of Montana Paramedic Certification or application pending
- Current National Registry
- Possess a valid State Driver's License
- Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS
- Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
- Ability to pass drug & background screening
- Ability to pass a physical agility test (PAT)
- Overnight Shifts Required
