Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to assure care is being given. Act as team leader to manage scene and unit operations as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating professionally with allied health, public safety, and fellow Paramedics. Pay rate ranges from $73,394.83 to $112,102.00. Candidates must hold an Oregon State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications, plus ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 training.
