Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while acting as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to assure care is being given. Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Full-time immediate hiring available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
