Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader and manage the scene and unit as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain image and establish strong community relations. Requires Kansas Paramedic certification, BLS and ACLS, and a compliant driving record. Starting at $61,201/year.
