Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being delivered. Act as team leader for scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while collaborating professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. This full-time float position covers shifts in Kansas City, KS, Pleasanton/Linn County, KS, and Cass County/Harrisonville, MO.
