Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and driving record compliance. Hourly wage is $37.04. AMR delivers compassionate emergency and patient relocation services through Global Medical Response.
