Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families, drive the ambulance on 911 responses, and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel while participating in community programs to maintain the AMR image. This full-time role offers a $10K sign-on bonus with a rate of $34.76 per hour for a 12-hour shift, supporting compassionate emergency and patient relocation services within Global Medical Response.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- Ambulance Driver's License
- Medical Examiners Card
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25)
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
