Paramedic - Abbott EMS

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel while participating in community programs to maintain the AMR image. Requires a State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Starting pay ranges from $26.33 to $30.53 per hour with a $15K sign-on bonus for full-time roles.
