Job Summary
Paralegal supports the Youth Guardianship Project by assisting with case preparation, interviewing young clients, preparing affidavits, briefs and motions for filing, conducting legal research, interviewing collateral sources, and performing legal administrative tasks. Responsibilities include proofreading, cite checking, drafting subpoenas and proposed orders, serving and filing documents, gathering information through interviews, and maintaining detailed activity records. Key skills include proficiency in research, strong written and verbal communication, time management, collaboration, and discretion with confidential information. Spanish proficiency is preferred. Salary range provided; hybrid schedule requires in-person work at least two days per week with additional team days. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a preference for legal internship or coursework experience
