Job Summary
This position is for a dedicated Paralegal to advance their career in defense litigation. Key responsibilities include preparing records, reviewing and preparing exhibits, conducting investigative research, managing documents, and organizing case files. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 2+ years of relevant litigation experience, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and strong organizational and communication skills. This full-time role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 with additional benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years toxic personal injury and/or tort litigation experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear and effective communication skills both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and be proactive
Desired Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited Paralegal program/course preferred
- Experience preparing pleadings and discovery requests/responses, summarizing medical, employment, and military records
- Trial preparation experience a plus
- iManage experience a plus
- Experience with e-discovery and using Relativity or other document review platforms is a plus
