Job Summary

Manage company litigation matters and legal operations projects by maintaining the litigation docket, issuing document preservation notices, and organizing e-discovery documents. Assist in-house attorneys with preparing court submissions, filing engagement letters with outside counsel, and handling settlements and accruals. Provide general corporate support across finance, credit, and accounts payable, while contributing to legal research, investigations, audit requests, and M&A initiatives. Perform general office assistance including correspondence, expense reports, and travel bookings. Schedule includes occasional overtime. Requires a high school diploma, paralegal certification, and five years of experience working with lawyers.

Required Qualifications

  • High school Diploma
  • paralegal certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with lawyers
  • Experience preferably in major law firm and/or in a corporation
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, and Adobe Acrobat, including ability to create pivot tables, charts, presentations, and use other advanced features of these software tools
  • Must be proficient in e-discovery software
  • Must have knowledge of Practical Law Connect and Westlaw

Desired Qualifications

  • Additional college or business school
  • Experience handling complex litigation and e-discovery
  • Experience with matter management (e.g., Serengeti/Legal Tracker), entity management system (e.g., hCue), and similar systems
