Job Summary
Manage legal matters affecting the Credit Union, including contract review and administration, litigation support, regulatory inquiries, and governance documentation. Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents such as contracts, subpoenas, and pleadings while maintaining centralized files for compliance. Provide litigation and dispute support by organizing case files, coordinating with outside counsel, and preparing factual summaries. Support regulatory and compliance matters by assisting with responses to examinations and audits. Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to ensure timely and accurate handling of legal matters. Monday – Friday 8am -5pm. Hybrid and Flex Schedule Available.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal or legal administrative experience
- Working knowledge of contracts, civil litigation, probate law, bankruptcy law, corporate governance, and regulatory processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with management, legal counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to analyze information and organize complex records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems
- Demonstrated judgment, discretion, and professionalism
- I will be required to complete background, employment verifications, and drug screening
- I will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form
Desired Qualifications
