Job Summary
Develop and deliver legal disclosure documents in alignment with provincial regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with multifamily project managers, external legal counsel, and stakeholders to streamline communication and maintain project momentum. Provide administrative support for the conveyance process and manage legal documentation within internal systems to ensure accuracy. Coordinate consents and registrations for Phased Condominium Developments, ensuring compliance with the Condominium Property Act. Propose solutions and recommend process improvements to enhance cross-functional efficiency. Participate in weekly Legal team meetings and quarterly inter-departmental meetings to contribute to strategic discussions. Stay up to date with real estate legislation across multiple provinces to ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in condominium real estate in Alberta
- Relevant post-secondary education such as a diploma in paralegal studies, legal assistant/ secretary certificate, or equivalent experience
- Experience in interpreting legislation such as the Condominium Property Act and Business Corporations Act
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft office products
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to learn new software and updates quickly with ease
