Job Summary
Paralegal role supporting pre-litigation personal injury cases from post-intake through settlement; responsibilities include managing case files, drafting and revising legal documents (demands, proposals, settlements, correspondence), communicating with clients, attorneys, adjusters, and providers, collecting and summarizing medical records and documentation, coordinating client meetings and negotiations, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation, conducting legal and factual research to support case strategy, and using case management software to maintain organized files and records; requires strong organizational, research, drafting, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of related paralegal experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience/education
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
- Experience with case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a paperless environment
- Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with attorneys/team members
- Ability to review medical records, insurance policies, and applicable statutes
