Job Summary
Manage an assigned caseload from intake handoff through resolution or litigation transfer by coordinating medical treatment, follow-up, and documentation. Communicate with clients, medical providers, carriers, and lienholders while monitoring deadlines and case status. Maintain accurate case files in the management system, draft demands, and prepare cases for negotiation or transfer. Collaborate with Foundations, Records, Liens, attorneys, and internal teams to support progression, escalating risks promptly to the Team Lead. Requires one year of pre-litigation experience, proficiency with case management systems, and strict adherence to the firm's core values and zero-tolerance policy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to manage a caseload in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with case management systems and standard office software
- A commitment to maintaining a positive office environment and strict adherence to the firm's 'Zero Tolerance' policy regarding office gossip, drama, or behavior that negatively affects office morale or individual employees
Desired Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate, associate degree, or college coursework in legal studies or a related field
- Relevant experience may substitute for formal education
- 1+ year experience in personal injury pre-litigation, case management, or a related legal role
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and case handling
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
