Job Summary
Prepare materials for mutual fund Board meetings by administering the electronic Board books system platform and drafting legal memos, resolutions, and corporate governance documents. Draft and maintain project timelines while facilitating coordination for Board initiatives and electronic document execution. Interact with various business departments and attend meetings on behalf of the Office of the General Counsel. Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality. Requires minimum five years of paralegal experience in the mutual fund area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in mutual fund area
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team objectives
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects on a timely basis
- Ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with other business departments
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel and DocuSign
- Interest in or experience with legal technology, workflow automation, or document management tools
- Experience with Diligent electronic Board books platform
