Job Summary
Paralegal supporting the Pathways to Public Safety Division, providing full support to Assistant District Attorneys; duties include drafting orders, subpoenas, transcript requests, creating defendant files, assisting in investigating criminal histories, preparing files for problem-solving court appearances, maintaining spreadsheets, taking notes during interviews, and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and coordination with other units; requires a Bachelor’s degree and relevant paralegal/criminal justice experience per level, strong computer skills (Adobe Acrobat, Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and excellent written and oral communication; ability to work independently with deadlines and adapt to workflow; typical hours Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:00 pm; eligibility to work in the United States is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Level 1:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college + 0+ years of related paralegal/criminal justice experience? (Level 1)
- Level 2:Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of experience as a paralegal in criminal justice or equivalent
- Level 3:Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of experience as a paralegal in criminal justice or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States
