Job Summary
The Paralegal will support the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel in contracting, litigation, real estate, and risk management. Responsibilities include performing first-level reviews of legal matters, drafting agreements from templates, monitoring legal matter lifecycle, maintaining document libraries, managing service of process, handling eDiscovery requests, and communicating with trustees and attorneys regarding estate administration. The role requires detail management, strong communication skills, technological competency, and an ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Capacity to effectively manage details and time sensitive assignments
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Technological competency, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Adobe, document and contract management, and redlining application programs
- Able to recognize and anticipate procedural or other issues and proactively implement solutions
- Able to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and demonstrate sound judgment
- Able to work independently
- Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of law firm or in-house experience
