Job Summary
Paralegal role supporting Corebridge Financial's Litigation & Employment Legal Team with responsibility for management of labor and employment matters, dispute investigations, document productions, preservation notices, subpoenas, witness interview coordination, and case chronologies; preparation of case summaries and internal reports for senior leadership; updating benefit/compensation plan documents and related templates; monitoring state and local employment law developments; and providing administrative and reporting support across internal HR and business partners in a hybrid, Houston or Jersey City-based setting.
Required Qualifications
- College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
- Considerable paralegal experience in either law firm or in-house environment is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel) and willingness to develop proficiency in new applications and electronic systems
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, research, and writing skills
- Attention to detail and collaborative teamwork abilities
